Meet Me

Hello, I’m Helen.

I am an experienced house and pet sitter with a strong background in animal care and a genuine commitment to providing reliable, respectful service.

My journey began while I was studying at university, where I worked as a full-time house sitter for over four years. What started as a practical arrangement quickly became something much more meaningful.

During this time, I cared for a wide range of animals - from dogs and cats to more unique companions, even goats and crayfish - and built trusted relationships with my clients, many of whom welcomed me back time and time again.

Living and working in my clients’ homes taught me the importance of trust, consistency, and creating a calm, secure environment for pets to feel safe and settled in their own space. These values continue to guide the way I work today.

I hold a National Diploma in Animal Care, which has given me a strong foundation in animal welfare, behaviour, and health, including caring for pets with individual or specific medical needs.

More recently, I’ve worked as a university tutor, but I’ve always felt most fulfilled working closely with animals and being active in my day-to-day life. Returning to this work feels like coming back to something I truly value.

I understand how important it is to find the right person to care for your pets and your home. It’s a responsibility I never take lightly, and I approach every booking with respect for your home, and genuine care of your pet(s).

Yes, this was a cuddle without consent - but Roxy really didn't mind all that much (despite the face she pulled).

And, yes, it's an old photo - ah to be a size 12 again.
